After
studying Spanish Philology at the Universidad Autónoma
de Madrid, Antonio Martínez Asensio (Madrid, 1964) made
a rapid beginning in television, working for TVE, Tele 5 and Canal+,
as well as for several independent producers.
A radio literary critic and contributor to various programmes,
he has also written scripts for television series and feature
films.
His book, ¡Mi mujer
está embarazada! (My wife’s pregnant!), was published by Grand Guignol Ediciones in 2006.
He is writing the sequel, provisionally entitled ¡Ya
soy papá! (I'm a father!), which takes a humorous
look at fatherhood.
Antonio Martínez Asensio is also the author of the novel, En soledad.
